ASAK My Bothers in Faith, OQP is a great and noble undertaking. May Allah bless your efforts. I had accessed the English translation by Ali Qari Qara'i and wish to make a comment. In footnote #12 that Throughout this translation whenever the pronoun ‘you’ refers to the second person singular in the Arabic and is meant as an address to the Prophet, it has been italicized (for similar reasons, also the related verbs) in order to distinguish it from cases where it stands for the second person plural. This is not so on your web pages. It is a feature that will aid understanding. The ebook complied by Zain Cassini that is available in pdf format on the web also does not use italicized text here. In Abdel Haleem's translation the person referred to is identified within braces wherever applicable - as such I found that very helpful. Just thought I should share this with you. As a Turkish student of the Quran, I use certain translations a lot more often than some others. However, the ones I most often use are not on the site. Humbly, I definitely suggest including the translations of the Mustafa İslamoğlu, Ali Ünal and Hayrat Vakfı. This would be a great gift to the Turkish-speaking lovers of the Qur'ân. The amount of scrolling requirement can be minimised with an option to go Fullscreen, where only the verses area be shown, without the Website header & other borders. And also, the scrolling isn't smooth and mouse wheel sensitivity is very low. Please try if this too can be improved. Otherwise, it's an extremely great website, I'd say. May Allah reward you for your service to people. Thank you.

Also, I wish I could switch the Arabic script to Warsh from time to time, or even other qira'ahs so I can compare qira'ahs the way we can compare translations (I know it's not the same concept), but I meant it would be neat to see that.

It would be nice to have the option of reading in the Indian-Pakistani Arabic script. I have grown up with this script and I believe it is a widely used script so the inclusion of it on this website would be great Jazakallah Khair

Easier commentary reading [updated]

When trying to understand a verse I often want to compare several translations and their commentaries. Toggling back and forth between the verse and the commentaries is very time consuming. A feature where one can chose to display the commentaries next to the verse instead of at the bottom of the page would make commentary reading easier and more joyful.

Please pitch this idea to the web site. I would like to go to a specific verse directly. I want to type, for example, 2:255 and go to this verse directly. Now, I have to find the correct page, then I can select the verse and it is very very difficult. Thank you

Commentary is missing for Bernström's swedish translation. Is this due to copyright issues? Otherwise please add this feature.

I can say that I have seen several online sites with Bernström's translation, but none of them include the comments. I have the physical book with the comments so I know the version actually has comments. Don't know anything about the public domain.
